#48 October 2, 2021 Low Key Saturday, Our last in Harvest

Today we woke up early.  I do like to wake up and get up!  Very different from the earlier version of me. lol.  Our exercise routine was our 'easy' day of DDP's Energy 23 minute Routine.  We made breakfast separately because I'm still on my elimination diet for a while longer.  Darrell made his lovely, delicious gluten free pancakes and dark coffee.  I made my weird coconut and flax pancakes with date syrup which were oddly satisfying:)  I have most missed morning coffee, next to a few other foods I rely on.  I plan to try some coffee in about a week as I rotate in foods to test my toleration levels.  At this point of being 2 weeks into my diet, I am just now feeling like I'm breathing easier with more air flow.  I've been feeling better this week than last week too.  Some of these feelings could be more complex than just the diet changes.  I do know that eating more veggies is a good thing.  I also started eating wild caught, deep sea fish a couple of days ago.  No problems with that so far.

My weird coconut flour and flaxmeal pancakes.  Decaf tea.

Darrell left early to load 3 bushes he and Eric pulled out at Eric's house last night.  There is a limited time to take them to the disposal.  They are working hard.

I got to visit grandbaby Owen last night.  He's a sweet and healthy 2 week old.

Samuel came over this morning for a visit with me.  Darrell got back close to lunch time, and we had our regular, fancy salads.  The afternoon left us both napping and then going to Indian Creek for a walk.  The weather has been warm but bearable around 70-80.  It's always better in the shade and there were clouds today.

Darrell worked on his computer doing some tax amendment prompted by TurboTax!  He said it was difficult but there were instructions that allowed him to get it complete shortly and get money back on their filing mistake.  Like the game of Life, a tax mistake in our favor.

Dinner was wild Alaskan Cod with sweet potato and slaw for me and tomatoes, cucumbers and rice for Darrell.

Baked cod.

Fresh local tomatoes. I stopped eating tomatoes about 3-4 years ago. These are Darrell's.
In the evening I did floor stretching with a workout 'Yamuna' ball. We watched a couple of TV shows. One on an archeology project in Peru, and another house remodeling show. The scenery in Peru was amazing! We've been to Cusco, Ollantaytambo, and Machu Picchu in 2019 and loved it.  As for the house shows we watch, Darrell started building houses in college and has continued throughout our house owning to do small projects to major renovations.  We both enjoy the creative and practical skills involved. Darrell holding Owen.
