500 Saturdays: Nomad Diary

Our Harvest, Alabama airbnb Inside our airbnb. The first floor has a half bath, and a laudry room. Owen helped us move in. Upstairs Master bedroom at our airbnb. Also upstairs is another bedroom, a bathroom, walk in closet and tv room. Wes, our second son, visiting his new niece. Saturday. 19. This is our 3rd to last Saturday in Alabama. We leave on September 5th by airplane to Portland, Maine. We are on a countdown with 2 ½ weeks to go. Today Darrell and I each attended a Bible class put on by some members from the Capshaw church we have been attending. And where we know several of the people. We made a breakfast casserole for Darrell to take to his breakfast group. I go to a later morning class with some ladies at a member’s house. We get back together for lunch and rest at our airbnb. Later in the afternoon we go to Eric and Erin’s to visit, have dinner and enjoy a time with a visit from Wesley, our 2nd son who lives in an apartment in Huntsville....

Today we spent the day at Eric and Erin’s house visiting with our new grandbaby Esther Mae. Erin’s parents came up for the afternoon and overnight. Esther was born on Thursday. It’s such a treat to be here with her and she’s just 2 days old! I made soup for dinner for our visit. It was fun to see Owen meet his sister for the first time.  Darrell and I moved out of Eric’s house and into an airbnb 2 bedroom house about 10 minutes away.While here we will repack our truck crates and trunks for storage at Samuel’s house. And we will get our packing organized for when we leave on September 5th. Eric is keeping our truck to use while we are gone through next April.  Erin decided that she liked the redone furnit...

We went to church in Harvest where our former church group combined 2 groups into one. The congregation is quite large now. Over 200 with many people we don't yet know.
