#112 2022 December 10-16. Nomad Diary. Living 6 Weeks in Hartselle, Alabama Airbnb.

We are relaxing and getting busy at the same time! We are enjoying our freedom to shop and cook meals in our kitchen. Today we go over to Samuel’s house in Madison so Darrell can help him puzzle through a wiring issue. It’s an odd symptom of a dimmed light. They worked on looking at wires and switches for a couple hours. We take a break and go for lunch. We come back and they open another switch box and found a burned out wire. They fix it and we are all much happier that any fire hazard has been averted! I cook dinner for tomorrow at Eric and Erin’s. Sunday Lunch with this cutie pie Owen. We arrived yesterday morning on Friday into the port of Fort Lauderdale after crossing the Atlantic Ocean on the Regal Princess. Today we woke up in our nice one bedroom apartment where we are staying until we leave on Monday morning. With our groceries, Darrell and I cook breakfast after our morning exercise routine. We spend a few hours in the morning reading and working. Darrell works on his weekly blog knowyourbible.org where he keeps up with people’s questions from Kenya who are studying along with him. Once we are ready we drive a couple of miles over to visit our friend, Janice and her grandson. She knew my mother since they were kids in this city! We visit and go to lunch together. We will see them again tomorrow at church. For dinner we mix up a fresh salad to enjoy. Today we decided on our drive to Alabama and found a stay for Monday night and one for Tu...

#110 2022 November 26-December 2. Nomad Diary. A Week At Sea! Crossing the Atlantic Ocean Onboard the Regal Princess. Arrive in Ft. Lauderdale.

Fresh flower arrangement on the ship is spectacular! Another beautiful day on the Atlantic Ocean. Sunday. 27. A sea day. Sunday is our worship day that includes taking the Lord’s supper, singing praises and prayers to God and looking into the word of God for a time.  Monday. 28. A sea day. Everyday we do early morning exercises. Watch the sun rise if possible. Eat breakfast. Have a mid-morning coffee or tea. Attend a passenger led Bible study. Rest on the deck. #109 2022 November 19-25. Nomad Diary. Genoa, Italy. Corsica (Ajaccio), France. Gibraltar (UK). Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain (Canary Islands) and Thanksgiving on the Ship. Sea Days.
