Quinn and his stick.Darrell's attempt at gluten-free pancakes that failed.Saturday Activities: First breakfast at our airbnb and a phone call with Darrell's Mom. Brunch planned at Jeremy and Andrea's started with an idea of gluten free pancakes and sausage. The pancakes turned out not so great as they were too gummy in texture. I ate a couple of them. Everyone else passed on the gf pancakes and had toast with eggs!
Jeremy, Quinn and Andrea on the street where they live.We all loaded into our rental truck and drove to downtown Vancouver for the farmers market. Darrell and I bought dark chocolate hazelnuts and cinnamon almonds. It was chilly and rained a little bit. We drove back to the house. The guys went for a walk. Andrea put Quinn down for a nap and then I chopped onions, garlic and chipotle pepper to assist her combining and browning pork pieces to bake into Mexican Pork in her Dutch Oven. It smelled great all afternoon.
Vancouver, Washington Farmers Market looking in one of 3 directions.Snack time at Farmers Market Vancouver city park with huge trees, Jeremy, Andrea and Quinn pausing to get the stroller cover in place for the rain. A pair of mallards in the grass.Nomad Notes:
Darrell still downsizing. Here he donates his special "flown over the capitol" flag to Mitch for his son's Boy Scout Troup! Mitch was pretty excited since his son's eagle project had to do with the US flag! In the background is Mickey, Mitch's Dad.Last time we saw Mitch was 1985. He was a teen then!
