#4 Saturday: November 28, 2020 "Monroe, Louisiana to Madison, Alabama Driving Day 450 miles"

Said goodbye on Friday to sister Cyndy's pup, "Boo"  and family.. Stayed overnight Friday at Holiday Inn Express.  Saturday night we arrive to our next airbnb,  a 2 bedroom,  2 bathroom house in Madison, Alabama. Its a familiar location for us, near to one of our frequent walking trails, Darrell's office building, and Bridge Street Mall.  We ate at the hotel for breakfast.  At Newk's restaurant in Meridian,  Mississippi for lunch we shared a delicious $10 pizza. Coffee and water in our truck. Gasoline prices are so low at 1.58 to 1.88 per gallon.  The drive has been mostly grey cloud covered and around 56 degrees. 
We exercised before breakfast as is our habit for many years now. We rotate DDP Yoga routines. We exercise two mornings and take one morning off.

Getting up at 5:30-6am and taking care of our house sit cockatiels and cats was easier today! Lol. Doing it with two people is a lot easier than trying to do it with one. We got through the animal feedings and had breakfast before 8am today. Around 9am Jeremy and Andrea and Quinn called from Brazil. I always get a big smile with my kids on the phone so I appreciate the attention and time together! Darrell and I had a few animal chores that we attended to. I made two days of fresh food for the birds. Darrell vacuumed the bird areas. We also had to remove the old paper in 4 cages so that it is now fresh for another couple of days. Jeremy called and talked to us with Quinn. Quinn was talkative and happy that it’s his birthday. He had been to his piano lesson and had a stack of birthday presents on the dining table next to him. They also had plans to go outside to play and to go to a cafe for a piece of celebration cake. Next week is the planned birthday party with friends. We got the report from Andrea and Jeremy about Quinn loving his birthday gifts. She posted pictures of him playing with his new magnetic squares and other shapes.   Sunday. 7. Worship today at Capshaw church in Harvest. One more Sunday after this and then a few days to our trip to England. I met an immigrant at church named Vickie. I got a few bits of information from her. He picked this one for two-three main reasons: 1) it’s 2 weeks long with a lot of down time to relax and disconnect from work. 2) this cruise usually is about 50% guest capacity 3) per day price is always less expensive on repositioning cruises.
