One of Our Very Tasty Pancake Breakfasts. Darrell made his fabulous pancakes that we have been looking forward to eating almost every morning that we can. His current recipe is a mix of oat and barley flours, nonfat greek yogurt, and shredded apple, along with all the other ingredients. I’ll put the recipe at the end. We helped our friends, the Bacci's, move out of their current house. We showed up with a whole lot of other friends to get them moved from one house to another house. Saturday. 9. Walk at Swan Creek in Athens, Alabama. Decorate Esther’s birthday cake. I got creative with a cake decorating idea when I learned a new frosting recipe on YouTube. It’s so much easier and less sweet than traditional buttercream frosting. I’ll put the recipe link and in my words at the end of the Nomad Notes. I got the new frosting recipe and the decoration completed. We arrived at the party at Eric and Erin’s house. Erin’s parents and brothers were there. Today Darrell decided to look at taking a cruise starting in Southampton, England on September 27th. It was one we considered several months ago, but we weren’t ready to commit. Now, it is possible for us to consider this cruise. It is on the Emerald Princess and is a round trip to the Arctic circle in Norway. This is the same ship that we are booked with our son Samuel in October for coming Southampton to Fort Lauderdale. Darrell’s current eye treatments have been varied on this next round to have more weeks in-between doctor visits, and this allows us more time away and to consider taking this cruise.
