#98 September 17, 2022. Nomad Diary. The Queen's Funeral Procession at the Royal Mile in Edinburgh. Moving from Housesit to Flat. Scottish Highlands Bus Tour.

Pretty pastries at La Barrantine bakery.    Saturday Activities. 17. We did a more difficult exercise routine this morning. I could feel stretching in my face and jaw where I was injured a few weeks ago. I made it through, and glad that I could do it. Darrell spends some time on the pc doing several things: email, Kenya articles, our budget on the Mint app, and shopping for our New Zealand cruise in 2023. We have been discussing this on and off, and looking at our calendar and at the ship calendars as cruises are beginning to get scheduled for 2023 and into 2024. We took time to compare our cruise options. We mostly cruise on Princess ships...

Today the weather has cleared and we decide to take a longer walk of 2 ½ miles to the Colinton Tunnel. It has good reviews for a mural. We enjoyed the wooded walk beside the river Leith and the tunnel was fabulous. Hamish went with us and kept up his pace well. We walked back to our house and took a small break and then left Hamish in his crate as we went grocery shopping.  Week’s Highlights. Hamish next to me. We are in the living room looking out to the sunroom where Darrell is sitting.  Darrell at Saughton Gardens, The Bistro Cafe. Saughton is pronounced "sockton".
